余迪文 YU, Solomon
Solomon starts with painting and continues his interest in the negotiation of forms and narrations, exploring image-making as a medium for thinking, experiencing and action. His art projects usually start from collecting images and sounds from diverse sources ranging from archives, the press, advertisements, family albums, everyday life, social media to even pornography. Working with painting, digital imaging, video, sound and installation, he transforms those available materials and engages audience to interact with them. As an extension to his art practice, Solomon also collaborates with others and curates exhibitions and multi-disciplinary creative projects. He enjoys teaching and learning with others about art and culture, and he is the founder of Platform Zero Art & Research. Solomon received his MA in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011, and he lives in Hong Kong.
