WORTMAN, Sharyn
Born in Melbourne, Australia Sharyn completed an Honours Degree in Visual Communication at Melbourne University in 1991. She then worked as an Art Director in Advertising for the next 10 years before launching her own luxury tea brand that won numerous food and design awards worldwide. (www.todaywasfun.com) She is now living in Hong Kong and has returned to her passion of painting, photography and capturing the soul of a city caught between two worlds. She completed a full time Fine Art degree at HKAS majoring in Ceramics. " Everything I do has to be conceptually sound. The starting point is the idea, the medium follows."
