Nutz received her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Co-presented with The Hong Kong Art School) in 2009 and major in ceramics. She is interested in the depiction of some neglected conflicts in her life, concerns the community and environment as well as making explorations into the possibility of ceramics. She received the Pan Gallery Ceramic Art Award of Australia in 2010. Her works have exhibited in Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Japan and Australia. In recent years, Nutz gets participated actively in community activities and art education; sets up nutzeramic and works as pottery supervisor of Pine Gallery of Hong Chi Association, to popularize ceramic art.
