黃愷琳 WONG, Karen
My name is Karen, I was born and raised in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) majoring in Ceramics from the RMIT. I’ve been a full-time, professional artist working out of my art studio in Hong Kong since 2015. Committed to the promotion of pottery art culture to the local community. My work commences with the analysis of the chemical composition of natural corals, I then reshape nature by using similar chemical and ceramic materials to reproduce the growth pattern of corals, thereby allowing viewers to reassess their relationship between human industrial development and nature.
