Weather Forecast Weather Forecast is an on-going project first presented by five artists from Hong Kong at Iklectik Art Lab in London in 2016. The exhibition acts as a logbook of artists’ development and progress, aims to create a community which encourages constant dialogue between artists and generate further possibilities.
Like the constantly evolving weather, the themes explored by each artist – and the diverse ways that each presents their ideas – also reflect the changes that are occurring in the current unpredictable climate of the contemporary world.
‘How beautifully blue the sky The glass is rising very high Continue fine I hope it may And yet it rained but yesterday. Tomorrow it may pour again…’
(From The Pirates of Penzance, Gilbert & Sullivan, 1879)
If tomorrow can be forecasted, what does tomorrow mean to you?
