This is the graduation of the third cohort of students from the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) Programme run at The Art School, Hong Kong Arts Centre in collaboration with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.
The number “3” has always been regarded by the Chinese people as a symbol of perpetuity and infinity. The title of the exhibition, “Infinite 3” inspired by local cultural heritage, reflects the spirit of perseverance, unlimited creativity, and enthusiasm of these aspiring artists who, incidentally, come from three major discipline areas: painting, drawing, and ceramics. The works of these artists display not only artistic skill and creativity, but also the expressive use of various mediums beyond their area of study.
It is our wish that we will continue the legacy of the outstanding achievement of our predecessors, and be able to contribute to the arts arena in Hong Kong.
