早前到了灣仔的香港藝術學院，因為在十樓的藝廊正舉行一個群展「Processing: on Mind-Mapping」（展期至5月31日），參出了香港藝術學院的文學士學生及畢業生，如程苑蘅、劉思賢、劉婉婷、李寧峰、呂祉希、龐頌恒、黃敏靖及翁嘉文等人的作品，以mind map心智圖為名，通過他們八人的作品，是不是可以讓觀者如看一份份創作筆記或思維草圖般，令大家可以如展覽簡介中所言，窺視到藝術家感興趣的題材及反映其藝術思考的過程呢，那就真是在可以與可能之間，在可以與可能以外了。

藝術創作是需要理性和感性並重。當代藝術普遍偏向以概念出發，而概念大多偏向理性。展覽《存在的跳躍》就是希望由感性作創作起點的一場試驗。參與展覽的八位的藝術家以不同藝術媒介進行創作，他們會收到另一位參與藝術家的舊作，並在對該作品的創作者和創作理念一無所知的情況下，以其自身的作品以回應。這樣的安排一來是希望能在參展藝術家開展創作的時候，盡量把概念的成分減少，透過來自對另一藝術作品的美感經驗，以感性接收為創作起點；二來亦希望加強作品與作品之間的聯繫，在平面與立體、有形與無形、時間與空間、靜態與動態、傳統與革新、特殊與普遍及中國與西方之間對話。

“When I studied fine arts here in Hong Kong, I did ceramics for a year. It was one of my favourite subjects because it involved handling clay. Working with a natural material like clay, which is not dissimilar to soil and water, was almost therapeutic. We recently started a communal composting initiative in our village, which is pretty exciting – by turning our green waste into compost we are creating even more nutrient-rich soil to get our hands into.”
