【Fabric of CHAT | Movana Chen】
Movana Chen is a Hong Kong artist, known for her artistic practice KNITerature which she creates by knitting together strips of paper instead of yarn. As one of the featured artists for the Inaugural Season, she will be creating her artwork Fabric of CHAT, which will be displayed at the CHAT Arcade.

去年年底期間，香港視覺藝術中心舉辦的《放浪城市》系列，當中包括林欣傑「記憶的城市虛構的城市」、周耀輝與黃照達「靜靜雞摘13個如果：靜漫一種」、譚偉平「內在的自由」三個項目組成，藝術家們由城市的聲音切入，再以各種不同的媒介表達方式，展現及思考他們對城市的感覺。三個展覽部分由不同的藝術家負責，展現出藝術家們對城市的不同視角。

（2018年12月）「JCCAC好夢幻啊！」甫開始訪問，肥娃就給她與JCCAC的這10年下了總結。當別人慨嘆十年如一日，肥娃卻覺得十年如一夢──充滿高低起伏的夢。肥娃的藝術才華很早就展露光芒，由早年於香港中學會考視覺藝術科考獲甲級成績，後至香港藝術學院攻讀藝術及進駐JCCAC，成為當年最年輕的駐村藝術家，肥娃從沒有停下腳步，即使經歷思覺失調或驚恐症，頑強的她還是一一克服並繼續挑戰自己。

She received her Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) in painting from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in 2014. Currently, she is pursuing Master of Fine Arts at the School of Creative Media of the City University of Hong Kong. Elaine is the founder of Altermodernists, an independent art group in Hong Kong that is devoted to the documentation of artists’ creative processes. Her works are characterised by the transformation of observed social and related human behavioural phenomena, often enhanced with audience participation. They can be regarded as a presentation of the response to her experience in the society through moving images, installations and media projects.
